I spoke too soon

I know I put up Bibi Netanyahu yesterday as the personification of courage.

But I may have spoken too soon.

Don't get me wrong -- I have the utmost respect for the Israeli Prime Minister. And I think he is courageous in defense of Israel.

But then I heard the story of Lt. Daniel Cnossen.

Lt. Cnossen was gravely injured several weeks ago in Afghanistan. He's a Navy SEAL and already served two tours in Iraq. He was blown up by a landmine and lost both his legs and suffered other internal injuries. He is currently in the hospital at Bethesda in the ICU.

His family is raising money for his care. Please take a moment to look at the website and play the video under the "Dan's story" link. Its pretty moving.

If you can, contribute to his recovery. Or, just sign the guest book and let everyone know how much you appreciate the sacrifice he's made.

This is what real courage looks like.
